Euro-Green IT Innovation Centre invited several firms and organisations to discover the results of the survey on “Walloon cities facing the challenge of sustainable development”. Two main topics were presented: on one side, general status of Walloon cities willing to challenge themselves on the environmental question (measure of natural resources consumption, emissions of greenhouse gases, transport or mobility policies…) and one another hand, the measure, the monitoring and the recommendations on energetic efficiency of public buildings in Wallonia (amongst others schools and administrations).

Personalities like Mr. Jean-Claude Marcourt (Minister of Economy, SME, Trade, new Technologies and Education) or Mr. Elio Di Rupo (State Minister and Mons Mayer) or Mr. Jacques Platieau (Country General Manager IBM Belgium, Luxembourg and Sales Leader IBM BeNeLux) also participated to the event.
